Traditional rag doll boy rag doll made of cotton and felt with buttons

This traditional soft bodied rag doll, named luke was handmade in my sewing room at home in Cornwall, UK.

I like to work with cotton fabrics, ribbons, trimmings, felt and buttons to create beautiful things to share.

Luke Doll has brown felt hair and beautiful brown button eyes. He wears grey trousers and a bright orange shirt finished with green buttons.

He has a hand embroidered face which conveys his individual character and charm.

This doll is approximately 50cm/20inches long and 15cm/6 inches wide.

The doll is made of calico, its clothing is cotton and it is filled with polyester wadding that conforms to British Safety Standards.

Spot cleaning with mild soap is recommended.

As this doll is handmade and contain buttons it is for decoration and is not recommended as a toy.
