Kitty Bonnet has been handmade of felt and cotton in my sewing room at home in Cornwall, UK.
I like to work with patterned fabrics, ribbons, trimmings, felt and buttons to create beautiful things to share.
This felt hat is made of raspberry coloured felt outer fabric with a dove grey polka dot cotton lining and chin ties. It also has a purple daisy flower applique detail at the front.
The hat has an inner circumference of 45cm/18inches at the largest point around the crown.
I recommend that you measure your child’s head just above their ears and eyebrows. Insert a finger between the head and the tape to ensure the hat will not be too tight.
