I like to work with patterned fabrics, ribbons, trimmings, felt and buttons to create beautiful things to share.

This little blanket is handmade in my sewing room at home in Cornwall, UK. I used to love play with my teddies and dolls when I was a child, I was always making up stories and putting my special friends safely to bed was really important to me. It was really special to make this little blanket for my special little friends who still live on my top shelf of my wardrobe and I hope you love it too.

The blanket is made of poly/viscose super-soft fleece fabric which has been trimmed with lovely embroidered ribbon in a contrasting colour. It has an additional detail of a beautiful applique daisy flower which has been applied by hand-stitching. The stems are chain stitched with embroidery silk.

This blanket is made of soft cream fleece fabric with an floral embroidered satin ribbon trim in blue with red and yellow flowers. The daisy motifs have turquoise petals, lime green centres and green embroidery silk stems.

The blanket measurements are approximately 35cm/13.5 inches wide and 50cm/19.5 inches long.
