Upcycled Vintage Cotton Christening, Baptism or Baby Naming Day Outfit With Rose Pink Satin Rosebud Detail

This beautiful vintage christening gown with a bonnet has been made of Embroidery Anglaise white cotton fabric with lovely detail on the dress and bonnet.

It is so pretty it would be perfect for a traditional, vintage-style christening, baptism or baby naming day and could be kept as an heirloom piece for future generations.

The gown has been thoroughly washed and is in excellent condition.

To enhance this beautiful gown I replaced the buttons at the back with vintage mother of pearl, then handsewn pale pink satin rose buds to the collar, bodice, and hemline and also to the edge of the bonnet.

This gown is approximately 70cm/28inches long and would be suitable for a baby up to six months old, depending upon the size of the baby. Please contact me if you need additional measurements. I have photographed a soft-bodied doll wearing the gown for indication of the size.

I recommend washing it at a low-temperature machine or hand washing with a gentle spin and line dry. Do not tumble dry.
